Feeding the Need to Read (6)

Oops! I forgot to post my books last week! So this listing is for the books I’ve bought and received the last two weeks.

I tried hunting down a copy of First Drop of Crimson by Jeaniene Frost locally but I couldn’t get my hands on one. The stores were either out of stock or didn’t stock it. I ended up ordering online. That was truly a let down so I think I’ll start pre-ordering more.

Have a nice weekend everyone!!

Bummer about having to order First Drop of Crimson because you couldn't find it. I discovered that Uncle Hugo's has a feed for the books they receive and put out - they had the new Kresley Cole on the shelf on Thursday or Friday! I don't think it's officially out until Tuesday, is it?!?? Dangerous place...

EH - I'm definitely going to make time to read The Iron King this month. :)

Chris - I want a Uncle Hugo here in Texas too! I like to live dangerously. ;)

TJ - Curious, which ones?

I've read Meljean Brook's story in First Blood...I really enjoyed all of her stories & novellas. I have been meaning to go back and check out some of the other stories in that particular one!

Bree - Meljean Brook and Chris Marie Green are the main reasons why I picked up this anthology. I do the same thing with anthology, pick through the stories. :)

Alexia - Your review was the icing on the cake that got me to buy The Iron King. I hope it's a terrific read for me too.

Great list Donna.. I picked up "First Drop of Crimson" this week but it will have to stay in the stacks for a while.

I'm looking forward to "Marked", by Elisabeth Naughton. :)

Thanks for sharing the links!

Cecile - Thanks, that's so sweet of you!

Chasity - Well, it is two weeks worth. ;)

Lea - I was surprised when Marked showed up, I wasn't expecting it but it was a nice surprise.

Patti - Lucky you! The K-mart we had here closed down a couple of years back. My choices are very limited locally. :(

BCC - LOL! I am very happy with these past two weeks in books. Thank you!

Great reading loot, Donna!
I see you finally got your hands on Steamed. I was about 100 pages in and put it down for a week or so... it wasn't grabbing me. But I think it's more a matter of reader preference over story style than anything else. I picked it back up again today and am hoping to stick with it to the end now. I hope you like it.

I see you got an ARC of Elisabeth Naughton's upcoming book, Marked! Can't wait to hear your thoughts. I loved her romantic suspense trilogy and am hoping this one is just as great!
