This is the quiet week of the month for publishing on the genres I currently watch and it’ll be easy on the wallet too. Just one for me this week. I pre-ordered Pleasure of a Dark Prince by Kresley Cole because I’m tired of running around my small town trying to find books I want. Nope, not doing that anymore.

The New Dead: A Zombie Anthology by Christopher Golden Summary: RESURRECTION! The hungry dead have risen. They shamble down the street. They hide in back yards, car lots, shopping malls. They devour neighbors, dogs and police officers. And they are here to stay. The real question is, what are you going to do about it? How will you survive? HOW WILL THE WORLD CHANGE WHEN THE DEAD BEGIN TO RISE? Stoker-award-winning author Christopher Golden has assembled an original anthology of never-before-published zombie stories from an eclectic array of today's hottest writers. Inside there are stories about military might in the wake of an outbreak, survival in a wasted wasteland, the ardor of falling in love with a zombie, and a family outing at the circus. Here is a collection of new views on death and resurrection. With stories from Joe Hill, John Connolly, Max Brooks, Kelley Armstrong, Tad Williams, David Wellington, David Liss, Aimee Bender, Jonathan Maberry, and many others, this is a wildly diverse and entertaining collection...the Last Word on the New Dead. - Reviewed By: | |

I'm saying one thing; GARRETH!!!! *panting* *wanting* *THUD*
I'm really looking forward to Pleasure of a Dark Prince, can you tell??
Hi Donna!
I love zombie books too, so I'll have to take a look this one and Kreley Cole, enough said.
I know exactly what you mean about running around your little town or even the surrounding ones, trying to find a book that you really want to read. Amazon is my haunt for picking up books, I seem to lurk there frequently these days.
Dottie :)
Pleasure of a Dark Princes - yay!!!
The FU contest is over, but there's a fresh new contest running. :) Thanks!
Oh no, scary zombies! I better hide and let that hunk on Cole's books save me
Leontine - I can't wait either!!
Dottie - I tried last week to find a copy of First Drop of Crimson but I ended up empty handed. Decided then I'm just going to pre-order. From Amazon.com I'll get it on Wednesdays after release day, I can live with that. ;)
Chris - Yay!! *shakes pom-poms*
I could of swore I removed the old link last but I pretty tired. LOL! I went ahead and added your new contest too.
Blodeuedd - It seems zombies are all the rage now. I'm not sure if I want to be apart of that crowd yet. I think for now I like your idea! :D
You rock! Thanks! :)
Chris - *blushes* :)
Yay! I'm so ready to get back to Cole's Lykae!! I do love me some werewolves.
Thanks for the heads up, Donna!!
Hugs, VFG
The New Dead is also called Zombies: An Anthology of the Undead here in the UK and I reviewed it a couple of weeks ago. I really enjoyed it even though I don't really read anthologies :)
Wooties I have Pleasure of a Dark Prince, cannot wait for work day to end so I can read it. If I was smarter I would have schedule a vacay day off for this book.
VFG - Same here! I love reading Cole's work.
BCC - I wonder why the changed the name for the UK release? I usually pick through anthologies myself, very rarely will I read through one. Bad habit, I know.
KC - My copy will be here tomorrow!! I bet you pull an all nighter, huh?

I love hearing from everyone. Tell me what your thinking.
