I just want to say, "Man! I wish I could have gone to BEA!!!!" But New York City is so far away from Texas. Oh, yeah, and that one tiny thing called money. #@%^%!

Warning Bell! My contest for a copy of Ann Aguirre's Blue Diablo ends this Saturday at midnight CST.

Author News:
  • Good News! C.L. Wilson has been contracted to write three more books for the Fading Lands series. She said that means Bel, Gaelen and another yet unknown character from the series, will get their own books. She will also be writing a fourth book called the The Winter King, which will have a different setting, world and characters from the Fading Lands.
  • Jaye Wells has created a different kind of book trailer for Red-Headed Stepchild, you need to check out: A Heart-Warming Plea from Sabina Kane
  • More good news, Chloe Neill has announced that there will be a book three and four in the Chicagoland Vampires series.
  • Ann Aguirre gave a raving review of Sins & Shadows by Lyn Bendict.
  • Even more happy news, Anya Bast has announced a two-book deal to continuing her upcoming Dark Magick series.

So excited for the C.L. Wilson books!! I heard she was doing a fifth for the Tairen Soul series..is that true, plus three more in the series or just three more? Am I making any sense?

I also read the review of Sister of the Dead and it has me quite intrigued!

I'm excited also, I really enjoyed this series. Happy to see Bel & Gaelen get their own books, especially Gaelen. I read about the fifth book over at Katiebabs' blog. The fifth book is suppose to be named Tairen Soul.

I loved the Dhamphir series. It's one where you start rooting for the bad guys as well as the good guys, a lot of emotional conflict. The romance in this series is very minimal, it's there, just not much.

Bel is one of my fav characters:)

BEA is like book heaven. If you ever get the chance, do go. And if its in NY again I would love to meet up with you there! The only semi disappointing thing was there was not much UF. Most of the focus seemed to be on YA. I guess that's a growth area in publishing right now. I got a lot of YA books.

Janicu, I would love to go to BEA, especially in NYC, and it would be awesome to meet you. Maybe I'll be able to one of the next times. I've got a couple of YA books in my TBR, that I'm going to give a try but like you I really do like Urban Fantasy. At least you went away with a bunch of goodies. :)

OHHH that is so wonderful to hear about CL Wilson! I LOVE her writing. Her Fading Land series is just amazing. I really should do some browsing through the books before the fourth one releases.

I was thinking about doing the same thing, but I'll do it right before Queen of Song and Souls comes out. I was so psyched about it being released in June. But it was pushed back to November was the last I had heard. :(

I love hearing from everyone. Tell me what your thinking.
