Thanks for the great review. This book caught my interest a few weeks back and I've been wanting to learn a little more about it.

For me it's a toss up between Envy and Greed.

Envy I believe, If someone envied your life bad enough they would do anything to destroy yours and have it for themselves.

Hey Donna great giveaway!

Ever since the movie Seven, gluttony is one of the more creepier sins. Lust doesn't seem so bad to me, lol. But gluttony {shudder} reminds me of medieval times when Kings used to gorge themselves then purge, then do it all over again. One word ewwwwwwww.

I'll be tweeting this momentarily :)

I think that wrath would be the worst of all the deadly sins. Not being able to control anger or rage would be horrible.

Sloth certainly tends to make me the angriest!

Christine said...

Hi Donna,
Thanks for the giveaway.
I don't think I want to encounter any of those sins, but am thinking maybe wrath is the worst.

DawnsReadingNook said...

I think Gluttony. I can handle lust *grins* but make me go eeeewwww.

Ignore my useless post on the review... I totally thought I was commenting here. Anyway, I'm really intrigued by this book.

I think the worst deadly sin to have an encounter with is wrath. Angry people are scary people. o_O

When I think about it. I always end up thinking about the movie Seven. Which then makes me think gluttony would be the worst to have an encounter with.

Wow, the seven deadly sins reminds me of Seven and how creeped out I was by that movie!!! I would have to say that wrath would be the worst of the sins to encounter because of how unpredictable people are when they react to anger. Gluttony would be my second worst. Thanks for the contest!

I think envy might be the worst because it can be so sneaky. I hate passive aggressive behavior, prefer upfront confrontations. If you don't know what someone is thinking, planning, resenting, how can you change or protect yourself? Sure, envy could be upfront, but it is usually about hidden manipulations.

I retweeted your link, too :)

Wow.. this one is a toughie.... the list of sins and having to pick one...hmmm, I will say greed. Seems like greed leads to many unfortunate events. Greed for money, power, affection, etc. Seems like a core root, imo.

My email is liked in my profile.

I have to say for me it is a toss up between gluttony and sloth. Being out and about at the holidays last month brought it home to me that Gluttony is pulling ahead in America, we are a culture of people desperate for the latest and greatest whether we can afford it or not!!! We seem to have everything we want when we want it (or quite a few of us do) and it is still not enough! Slothfulness is my pet peeve because have seen too many people young old and in between who are just coasting on the coattails of those who work hard for what they have in life!!!!
