Coming Up

I have several author events coming up here that I’d like to share with all of you:

News

Karen Marie Moning posted the release date for Shadowfever, the final book in her Fever series, to be on December 28, 2010. Wow, that is nearly a whole year away!!! *stomps foot* Okay, tantrum over – sort of. Actually, I’m glad to see they have finally announced a release date. Now, I have a date to look forward to.

GIVEAWAYS: Abigail at All Things Urban Fantasy has started posting Urban Fantasy giveaways around the web on Wednesdays: Win on Wednesdays. If you haven’t seen one of these posts, head over and be prepared to be amazed because this week’s posting has 65 giveaways posted!

There is a new blog on block, Book Lovers Inc. A blog with 10 fabulous bloggers talking about most anything there is to talk about on books. Their grand opening date is January 19th, this coming Tuesday. Make sure you mark the date and head over because they are opening with a lot of great events and prizes.

An amazing collection of books! I'm not starting the Fae Fever books until the final book is about to be released. I swear I've some people almost lose their mind over the cliff hangers in those books LOL.

65 giveaways?! I can't even imagine trying to keep track of that list for a post! Wow.

Look at your reading list. You're going to be busy. :)

Blodeuedd - Thank you! :)

Abigail - You're welcome. I'm glad to spread the word and your kind to compile that list of giveaways. That's of your time invested there.

pattepoilue - LOL! I was jumping up and down when it arrived in the mail. Probably will dig into this week.

Alaine - That might be a good idea to wait. I was forewarned about the cliffhangers too but I jumped in and read them anyways. I seriously want that last book, like yesterday!

Chris - I know, that's some serious work tracking that many giveaways. Very nice of her to do. And yeah, I'm going to slow down on the book buying. I believe I have plenty to keep me occupied through a couple of blizzards or four. ;)

Donna - When the Great Book Shortage hits, the book bloggers will be prepared!

Wow Donna!

Awesome, some I have on my wishlist and I really want to read. My sister came to Sullivan from Springfield today and borrowed a whole stack of books (I did have to caution her with my books, I let her take a few from my keepers shelf, so worried about my babies, lol). I still have about 200 books, so not much of a dent. Chris is right, when the great book shortage hits, book blogger will be ready (one exception: if I don't buy at least on book a week, I start having withdrawal symptoms, is there a cure?) LOL

Dottie :)
