  • Jim Butcher posted the cover to the 12th Dresden Files novel, Changes, due to release in April 2010.
  • Rachel Caine announced on Twitter: "Probably appropriate to FINALLY announce the new book deal! 3 books, new series, first book called DEAD SEXY, starts aft. last Warden book."
  • Jaye Wells will be at the Dallas Comic Con this coming weekend, August 15-16 at the Richardson Civic Center.
  • Larissa Ione has posted a video of her chatting about demons while at the Romantic Times Convention in Orlando, Florida.

  • Sookie Stackhouse - True Blood Widescreen Wallpapers: These images are based on the True Blood characters but the scenes go beyond the HBO TV series to the books further out. They have Sims look to them.
  • Lurv à la Mode has interesting post on readers' reading style and genre switching or not switching.
  • Ilona Andrews posted this link to a website called Romance by You. Basically it's a site where you personalize a book's cover, name the characters, features and places, you are the co-author.
  • Steamcon: A Steampunk Convention: October 23-25, 2009 at the Seattle Airport Marriot in Seattle Marriot.
  • ShockTillYouDrop.com "Has learned exclusively that Sony's Screen Gems is moving ahead with a fourth film in the "Underworld" franchise and is targeting a January 21, 2011 release. The movie will be shot in 3-D."

Blodeuedd, I have been calling myself a nerd (and so has my husband) for years but I was corrected the other night on Twitter and was told I was a geek. Geek sounds better than nerd. :)
