New Cover: German Edition of Lady of Light and Shadows by C.L. Wilson

C.L. Wilson post the German cover edition of Lady of Light and Shadows (available in Germany on Nov 28, 2009) on her blog. I like it, a lot, especially the masquerade mask.

I received this series in ebook format from the publisher to review. Are they good? I haven't looked into them yet.

Hey Jess - This is one of my fav series. The first book has some slow spots but as the series progresses it moves along faster. Enjoyed the mystery build up in the series, good vs evil scenerio. Hope you enjoy this series.

One of my favorite fantasy series as well!

I really love the german cover, but I think our version better represents the book.

Amy, I agree with you about the US cover being a better representation. :)

Definitely like the German cover better. Its funny that there seems to be so many covers for books that just do not quite match the book. I wonder what the publishers where thinking?

I have the first book but haven't opened it up yet. I'm so behind.

Anywho, I really like that German Cover. It's pretty amazing in my opinion but I don't know which would match the story yet. I still really like the German cover though.

For me (I'm German) it is always interesting to see covers in English and. Beside the cover itself I always compare the titles. Sometimes the translation are really a mess. But in this case the translators did a good job.

Shellie - The German cover is gorgeous but not sure what the publisher's thought process is on the covers. Seems some match the story, others to just try and sell the story.

Mishel - Amy is right the US version does match the storyline much better than the German version. Who isn't behind in reading? LOL!!

ediFanoB - Funny you should say that, I used the Google translator to translate the title just for kicks before I posted this, to see what it would say. It was dead on in the translation.

I agree that the US cover is a better representation of the novel, but the German cover is gorgeous!
